i feel like the only person on Earth who doesn’t care when a website updates its UI unless the UI update is actually strictly negative in some way (which they honestly objectively rarely are imo, i think people just hate change or when their stuff gets swapped around, which is understandable btw, i just don’t share the sentiment)
probably the only UI updates i can think of lately that were Objectively Bad were the twitter desktop updates that added a bunch of header elements to the top of the page that made the desktop site extremely cluttered and borderline unusable for resolutions below 1080p
but imo the tumblr UI update isn’t really that big of a deal, they just shuffled things around, or at least i haven’t seen anything glaringly objectively wrong with it
